My Absolute Favorite Clip Studio Paint Brushes/Assets! - Both Free&Paid -

Hi guys! 👋It's me~ AiTommy!

As someone who’s been using Clip Studio Paint (CSP) for over 10 years, I can confidently say it’s my all-time favorite digital drawing app. I’ve never even thought about switching!

Whether you’re a beginner looking to dive into digital art or an experienced artist using a free app, you should definitely give CSP a try.

Why CSP?

CSP is incredibly versatile and packed with tools for illustration, comic creation, animation, and more.

It has so many features and tools you can use, so it might confuse you if you've never used digital drawing apps before. But once you understand the basics, this tool is the BEST drawing app for anyone who makes digital art, in my opinion.

Here's an affiliate link to the shop! There's a 30% discount winter sale until the 27th! Go check it out☺️✨️

My Absolute Favorite CSP Assets

This is my go-to lineart pen! I use this for my drawing/animation/comic, which means pretty much everything. It has a texture, and I don't have to control the pen pressure so much. It's simple, but I can make clean lines.

This is the ESSENTIAL tool when I do coloring 100+ comic/reel panels.

This is a filter/plugin, not an asset... but still, this is one of the filters I use a lot!! When I want to thicken/thin the lineart.

This filter/plugin is for people who use a lot of 3D models and TL(the Convert to lines and tones) features! It makes the lineart smooth.

My Favorite Asset Creator

27pt is one of the best Clip Studio Assets creators out there!! Check out their page and see what kinds of assets are available!

I downloaded so many brushes from them☺️✨️

My Favorite 3D Models

There are so many 3D models you can use! Here are some of my favorite 3d models!

I use a different version of this face model(250 cp), but this one is 10 cp! I use this 3D model to draw from a difficult angle!

I know so many people are struggling with drawing hands... so use 3D models! Super easy!

Some of my favorite brushes/assets

It doesn't look that fancy, but I use this tool a lot. If you draw a mirror/window or other reflective objects, you'll like it a lot.

Now you can erase along the lineart! It's really helpful when you need to do coloring a lot!

This pen set is super useful for adding twinkles and sparkles to your drawing!

These brushes are super cute! I use them a lot to finish up my drawings☺️✨️

If you want to draw rainy scenes, you'll like this brush set!!

I love drawing spring scenes with a lot of cherry blossoms in the background!

If you like cute webtoon style, this tool is for you!

I switched my art style to a simpler one, so I don't use this brush that much. But still, when I try to paint much richer, more detailed, rendered illustrations, I pick this brush to add more details!

Here are the patterns I use a lot!!

I have so many other tools, but I use them not that often so I didn't put them in this blog, but I might make another blog to introduce them separately!

I hope this inspires you to explore CSP and its amazing assets. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned artist, there’s something for everyone. Let me know if you have favorite brushes or tools—I’d love to try them out!
